Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
This policy explains what information DeviceCheckHub (“we”, “us”) collects when you use devicecheckhub.com (the “site”), and how it is used.
Device tests run on your device
Our tests use your browser’s built-in features to access devices such as your microphone, camera, keyboard, mouse, game controller or display, and only after your browser asks for and receives your permission where permission is required. The audio, video and input signals are processed locally in your browser. We do not receive, record, store or share them. Recordings you choose to make on a test page stay in your browser’s memory and are discarded when you close or reload the page.
Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, the servers that deliver our pages receive technical information with each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. Our hosting and content delivery provider, Cloudflare, processes this information to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We use it only to operate, secure and improve the site.
Analytics
We may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs, so that we can improve it. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
Advertising and cookies
To keep the tools free, we may display advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info. Where required by law, such as in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we will ask for your consent before personalized ads or non-essential cookies are used.
For more information, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Your choices and rights
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can revoke a site’s microphone or camera permission at any time from your browser’s site settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information about you, or to object to its processing. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
